It’s time for new sparkling encounters
Sparkling Wine Fest Croatia is launching SWF Sparkling Sessions – a cycle of educational workshops dedicated to the world of sparkling wines, initially taking place in Zagreb once or twice per month.
The program is led by two prominent names of the Croatian sommelier scene:
Kristijan Harjač, three-time Best Sommelier of Croatia,
and Antonio Gregorić, 4th Best Sommelier of Croatia.
Their knowledge, experience, and passion for sparkling wines form the foundation of these sessions, designed to be equally engaging for beginners and experienced wine enthusiasts.
In addition, there is the possibility of guest lecturers joining selected sessions – sommeliers and wine experts who will enrich the program with new perspectives and themes.
There is also a plan to organize visits to sparkling wine wineries, allowing participants to experience the origin and production of sparkling wine first-hand.
Two Programs – From First Steps to Deeper Understanding
The Entry Level program is created for those discovering sparkling wines for the first time.
Through guided tasting and discussion, participants will explore:
- main types of sparkling wines
- production methods
- styles and key world regions
- proper serving and enjoyment
The goal is to provide a confident and inspiring starting point for further exploration of the world of bubbles.
The Advanced program is designed for participants with prior knowledge who wish to deepen their understanding of style, terroir, and production philosophy.
Here, tasting becomes conversation, analysis, and exchange of ideas – in the company of Croatia’s leading sommeliers.
More Than a Workshop – Joining the SWF Community
